With deep respect and sadness, we remember Prof. Annette Draeger as researcher, lecturer and colleague. She was dedicated to the young scientists and students, whom she taught and supported tirelessly and selflessly with much joy and commitment. Her outstanding scientific work on the cellular defense against bacterial infections was pioneering. She was held in high esteem by colleagues, students and staff alike. The Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Anatomy are grateful for her many years of extraordinary commitment to the medical community of Bern.
Prof. Draeger helped shape the Institute for 25 years - it was her life's work.
